01 Registration

Registration can be made at the PLMSB headquarters or any nearby Pejabat Pendaftaran Calon (PPC).

📋 Required Documents

  • Local Applicants: Original IC
  • Foreign Applicants: Original Passport & valid Visa

👁️ Health Requirement

  • Not colour blind
  • Clear vision up to 23 meters in daylight

02 Theoretical Course (KPP 01)

Attend the required 6-hour Defensive Driving Theoretical Course prior to taking your computerized exam.

Duration: 6 hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM including break)
Required Documents: Original IC / Passport & Visa

👔 Dress Code Standard

Male: Collared shirts, long pants, and covered shoes (no short/ half-length pants, sandals, or slippers).

Female: Long pants/skirts and covered shoes (no short/ half-length pants, skirts, sandals, or slippers).

03 Computerized Theory Test

Covers Highway Code and Defensive Driving rules. Reservations can be made by call or direct booking.

Location: MyEG Taman Sri Muda (Certified e-Khidmat Centre)
Duration: 1 hour 15 min
Passing Mark: 42 / 70

Pass: Proceed to issuance of Learner’s License (LDL) (~7 working days).

Fail: Candidate needs to re-sit the test.

04 Practical Training (KPP 02 & KPP 03)

Hands-on practical training on the driving circuit and public roads.

⏱️ Training Breakdown

  • Circuit (KPP 02): 5.5 hours
  • On the Road (KPP 03): 10 hours
  • Total Practical: 15.5 hours

📅 Session Guidelines

  • Bookings available after receiving LDL.
  • Divided into 4 sessions (4 hours per session).
  • Maximum limit: 5.5 hours per day.

05 Qualifying Test (QTI)

An internal pre-test evaluation to confirm you are eligible for the official JPJ exam.

Test Duration: 30 minutes
Evaluation: Determines eligibility for official JPJ driving test

Note: If a candidate fails, they must re-sit before taking the official JPJ driving test.

06 JPJ Practical Test (Part II & III)

Official practical examination conducted by Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) officers.

📋 Eligibility Requirements

  • Completed Circuit (KPP 02) & Road (KPP 03) Training
  • Passed the Qualifying Test (QTI)
  • LDL validity must be more than 30 days from issuance date

Results: Announced immediately upon test completion.

Success: Probationary License (PDL) processed in ~7 working days.

Re-test: Candidates who fail can re-sit after 1 week (subject to slot availability).
